Volunteer

PAIR is a 501(c)(3) organization that relies on volunteers with diverse skills, including attorneys to represent PAIR clients and to advise detained immigrants. We also need volunteer interpreters, student interns, legal fellows, those willing to conduct asylum intake, medical professionals, academics with country conditions expertise, grant-writers, funding and branding experts, and IT specialists.

Partnership

PAIR is the core provider of pro bono legal services to low-income asylum seekers and detained immigrants in Massachusetts, and has over a 95% successful outcome in its asylum cases. PAIR has provided legal services and consultations to more than 17,000 clients, and has trained and mentored thousands of volunteer lawyers in the state. PAIR pro bono attorneys donated the value of over $18.7 million in legal services and expenses in FY 2022-23.
