Asylum

PAIR’s Pro Bono Asylum Program is a leading volunteer program in Massachusetts to recruit, mentor and train attorneys from private law firms to represent, without charge, indigent asylum-seekers who have fled their countries after suffering from unimaginable harm. The goal of the program is to secure safety for every client who has tried to exercise freedoms that we may take for granted: the right to express opinions, freedom of speech and assembly, or the right to practice a religion. PAIR has recruited, trained and mentored over 2,000 volunteer attorneys to represent asylum-seekers and immigration detainees. PAIR has a 95% success rate with its asylum cases.

If you need help, please contact Jennifer Reyes or Seth Purcell for an asylum intake appointment. The PAIR Project has several compelling asylum cases that require pro bono representation. If you are interested in volunteering, contact Anita P. Sharma.
